Online Parenting Class

Service Description

We are adapting our in-person class to an online format! Even though we cannot connect in person, we know that now more than ever parents need support and community. Parents and caregivers will have a chance to share their struggles and learn about optimal development while building their parenting toolbox. This small group class provides an intimate setting to discuss some of the challenges of curating a Montessori home. The intimate platform provides the one on one support you do not typically get from Instagram, book, or podcast. Through discussion and reflection, participants and class leaders can help you figure out how to utilize the Montessori philosophy while meeting your family's cultural values and needs. Our goal is to provide a space for families to feel affirmed in their parenting choices. There will also be 1 personalized session for each family outside of class time with a focus on helping you prepare your home. We will help guide you in setting up your spaces, setting limits and boundaries, choosing developmentally appropriate activities, observing your child, and promoting healthy social-emotional development. This class is lead by a credentialed Montessori guide who has partnered with a Montessori stay-at-home mama @montessori_madre. Both guides are also trained in mental health. We are excited to bring our perspectives on Montessori to the conversation of supporting your family!
