Upcoming Events

Updated: Nov 4, 2020

The Fall is one of my favorite times of year. I love the excitement of Back to School and setting up the classroom for new children. Fall brings about so many opportunities for intriguing practical life, sensorial, and language activities.

The end of September also brings the beginning of Fall conference season, which offers wonderful professional development opportunities. I am excited to share that I will be presenting in various conferences and workshops throughout October. With all of our conferences being moved virtual, it opens up more opportunities than ever to connect with professionals and get your clock hours!

Here is my speaking line-up for October:

This event hosted by a national Montessori society has brought together an amazing group of Infant and Toddler experts to lead guides in deepening their classroom practices. My presentation is entitled "From Surviving to Thriving: Supporting Young Children during Times of Uncertainty". I am honored to have my name mentioned alongside a group of Montessorians who have served as mentors and inspirations throughout my Montessori journey. This event comes with a fee and provides 13 hours of PD. There are pre-recorded on-demand sessions with live Q&A's and panel presentations throughout the week. This opportunity is designed for credentialed Montessori teachers who have at least 3 years of experience.

This event is hosted by the Texas branch of NAEYC and is geared towards Early Childhood Educators from all backgrounds. My presentation is on promoting healthy social and emotional development with infants and toddlers. This conference will feature live sessions with materials on-demand after the conference. Because this conference is designed for early childhood educators in general, there is a wide variety of sessions, perspectives, and topics covered. TXAEYC has placed an emphasis on diversty, equity, and inclusion work at this conference. This is a great conference for networking with other Texas-based professionals, getting state required CEUs, and deepening your understanding on core early childhood topics.

This is a *FREE* event hosted by SCMA which is a Montessori coalition for both public and private Montessori schools. South Carolina has a dear place in my heart as it is my home state, so I am so excited to get to be a part of this free event! My presentation will be on sensorial materials at the infant and toddler level. Overall this conference is aimed towards classroom teachers, though my presentation and the keynotes could be easily aligned for Montessori in the Home. There will be 5 CEUs provided and the event is live! SCMA is also accepting donations to continue their important work in the public sector.

Looking forward to November, The Young Montessorian, Montessori Lens, and Panoramic Montessori are partnering up for a seminar series aimed at 0-3 teachers and parents. More information coming soon!
